Debbie,
It was great to check out your blog and see what you've been up to. Quick update on our family- Stacia and Juan had their little girl in August and moved to Philadelphia in September, where Juan attends dental school. They are home for Christmas. Harper returned from his mission in California in May and promptly began school in June. He's doing chemical engineering stuff. Tristan attends BYU-I and is majoring in English. She works in the school publications office as an editor. Sierra is a senior in high school and dances or teaches dance every day but Sunday. She hasn't quite decided between Rexburg or Provo for college yet. Chad is an eighth grader and seems to love football more than breathing. He also loves doing things with his hands in science and shop classes. Mitch still works at the Y and is serving as a ward language missionary. I was released as YW president in March and have been teaching RS since then. I still run a clothing business and have worked a bit on and off at the BYU bookstore.
When are you guys coming down next? We would love to have you come and stay, maybe go to dinner or something.
I'm really lame and don't have a blog, but Stacia has one and posts most days so that she doesn't seem so far away. Her blog is at chavezpa.blogspot.com. There's a link to Tristan and Sierra on that site. My email is mccdlc@mstarmetro.net

Christmas Plans....

We are looking forward to having EVERYONE home for Christmas! Jared and Haylie always enjoy coming home to snow, even though Haylie always freezes.
Family is the most important thing in life, and we wish your family a joyous season!

Here are a few of our favorite Christmas quotes:
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. ~Calvin Coolidge
I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. ~Charles Dickens
Carly is a freshman at BYU in Provo. She is loving school and doing very well! We are looking forward to having her home for the holidays!

Kaden is a freshman in HS this year. He played varsity soccer for the school and is also involved with drama and music.

Kyle is in fifth grade and liking school! He played soccer in the fall and has been practicing wrestling, with with the middle school, and freestyle wrestling will begin in February. I hate it but he LOVES it!

Zoie is in second grade and she has been reading all the Junie B. Jones books she can get her hands on. She loves her gymnastics class and drives us crazy practicing cartwheels!!

Benjamin's Wedding Album

Kelsie and Alan Potts

My kids think that it is so funny that Kelsie is now Mrs. Potts! Kelsie and Alan will be attending Idaho State University this Winter. That will put them in Pocatello...only half an hour away! We are excited! Kelsie is finishing up her pre-requisites for the nursing program, and Alan hopes to become a seminary teacher.
